Can i update the software to a newer version?
Do not update the software because after the update (Bluestacks version 2 and 3) need Virtualization Technology to be enable. And the environment i very different from this one.

When im running an app, my screen goes black, why?
Black screen means your GPU or a specific App from the Bluestacks it's not working properly. You must update your CPU and GPU driver, if you have laptop you must update first your CPU driver because GPU driver can't be activate if CPU graphic driver is not installed.
